English 111

These past eight weeks have gone by exceptionally fast. I can recall the first day and thinking “oh boy, this is going to feel like forever.” Thank goodness I had Kayla there with me otherwise I wouldn’t have gone to as many classes as I did, or even stayed the entire time. I met some really nice people in this class and Paul, the instructor, was quite entertaining. He kept the class interesting and even though I didn’t exactly catch all his jokes, they were entertaining enough for everyone else. I also felt a little less educated than some of the classmate though. Multiple intellectual conversations went on and I just couldn’t understand some of the times.
I’m not a big fan of writing at all, and all of the graded assignments were writing assignments only. I’m sure if the class had more reading assignments to write about I would have done much better. I did get a better understanding of the writing format and how to construct a well written paper. I always get so frustrated when I write papers because they never sound good or the topic isn’t easy to write about so it takes me days upon days to write a paper that only has to be 600 words and even then, it doesn’t satisfy me.Lucky for me, I’m only taking one more English class. Overall, the class itself wasn’t bad at all. It was a good experience; it was fun and educational, as it should be.
